How We Use Your Information
Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR/EU/UK users)
Where applicable law (such as GDPR or UK GDPR) requires a legal basis, we rely on:
- Performance of a Contract: To provide and operate Zenturr and the QuickBooks integration you request.
- Legitimate Interests: To secure, maintain, and improve our services, prevent fraud, and support our business operations in ways that do not override your rights and freedoms.
- Legal Obligations: To comply with accounting, tax, and other legal requirements.
- Consent: For optional features or marketing communications where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time through your settings or by contacting us.
Primary Uses
We use your information to:
- Service Delivery: Provide and manage your Zenturr account, landscape business operations, scheduling, and customer relationships.
- QuickBooks Integration: Match Zenturr clients with QuickBooks customers, generate invoices from completed jobs, sync invoice status between platforms, and prevent duplicate customer entries.
- Communication: Send service notifications, security alerts, product updates, and support messages.
- Improvement and Analytics: Analyze usage to improve performance, features, and user experience, including troubleshooting and protecting against misuse.
We do not use QuickBooks data for behavioral advertising or unrelated marketing.
QuickBooks-Specific Data Usage
We use QuickBooks data exclusively to:
- Create and send invoices for completed landscape jobs.
- Synchronize customer information to prevent duplicates.
- Track invoice status (such as sent, paid, pending).
- Map Zenturr clients to existing QuickBooks customers.
We do not:
- Store your QuickBooks financial transaction details or accounting history.
- Access data beyond what is needed for invoicing and customer matching.
- Share QuickBooks data with unrelated third parties.
- Use QuickBooks data for marketing purposes.
SMS/Text Messaging
Zenturr enables landscaping businesses on our platform to send text messages (SMS/MMS) to their clients. When a client's phone number is provided to a business using Zenturr, that business may use the platform to send transactional and operational text messages on their behalf.
Types of messages that may be sent include:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- On-my-way notifications
- Job completion updates
- Invoice and payment reminders
- General business communication related to landscaping services
Consent: Text messages are only sent to individuals who have provided their phone number to the landscaping business and consented to receive text communications. Consent may be obtained verbally, in writing, or electronically through the business's client intake process. When adding or editing a client in the Zenturr platform, the business owner confirms consent by enabling the "SMS Consent" toggle, which displays a disclosure stating the business name, that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, and that the client can reply STOP to opt out at any time.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on the services provided and the communication preferences set by the landscaping business. Typically, clients receive between 1-10 messages per week depending on scheduled services.
Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts will be sent unless you re-subscribe.
Help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at support@zenturrai.com.
No Sharing of Mobile Information: We will never sell, share, rent, or distribute your mobile phone number or any information collected through SMS opt-in to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. This includes sharing with third-party lead generators, data brokers, or any entity not directly involved in delivering the requested messaging service. Your mobile information is used solely for the purpose of sending the text messages described in this policy.
Carriers: Carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, etc.) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information.

While no system is perfectly secure, these measures are designed to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.
- Account and Business Data: Retained for the life of your account and for a reasonable period after closure for backup, dispute, and legal compliance purposes, unless you request earlier deletion and we are not legally required to retain it.
- Customer and Job Data: Retained while your account is active so you can access history, reports, and job records, and then for the same post-closure period described above.
